If you're reading this, you're probably thinking about applying to Regent's, or are thinking about accepting an offer from the College. Hopefully you'll find the information you're looking for, but if not please feel free to ask a question in the Admissions Forum.
Regent’s is a PPH (Permanent Private Hall) in the University of Oxford, which has a very similar student experience to all other colleges of the university. We are one of the smaller colleges, with an undergraduate body of around 100 students. As a result, Regent's is known for it's friendly atmosphere and students often get to know each other quickly and made good friends for life.
Regent's punches above its weight in almost every respect. Be it at the college level, in the many sports teams Regent's has to offer, the charity events that have put Regent's at the top of the RAG fundraising table or the annual panto. Or demonstrated in the achievements of Regent's students at the university level, with students taking instrumental roles in RAG, the OIFS and other societies, and some students even gaining the prestigious Oxford Blue.
The academic side of college is comparable to all other colleges. Tutoring is mainly in college but it is likely that some of your course will be taught at other colleges. The university centrally controls lectures, libraries and exams, and as Oxford students you will be able to make full use of these facilities.
Oxford is an amazing university with so much to offer, and Regent’s is an ideal platform to take full advantage of all of its opportunities.
