Welcome to a world of college entertainment: or what Oxford fondly refers to as 'Entz'. Whether you call me Entz Rep or Social Sec, my role is to keep college alive with events of all shapes and sizes, whether it be the bi-termly 'BOPS', poker nights, karaoke, wine tasting or Hawiian Luau. Our dedicated Social Committee – Alasdair Maher (First Year English), Becca Nicholls (First Year Geography) and Hannah Robertson (First Year English) – are the dream team that bring a different event to Regent's Park JCR every single Friday night of term time. On top of all these happenings - whatever your scene is, Oxford has the club for you. If you're a cheese-floor fiend and you can't get enough of caterwauling along to Livin' on a Prayer then Park End (or Lava Ignite if you insist on moving with the times) on a Wednesday night is the place for you. Perhaps you'd like a quirky semi-themed tiki club playing hits remixed with jungle beats – in which case follow a certain Phil/The fresher (who might make you jog there) to Kugooey – sorry! That's Kukui. Alternatively (and yes, alternatively is the word), find The Cellar for that dub-step/deb-step/industrial/darkwave/jump-up/jungle/electroboogie/nu jazz bizniz by bands and DJs with similarly ridiculous names.
