I’m Kirsty Borthwick, Regent’s Park College’s Welfare Information Officer. I head up the welfare provisions within the JCR and liase with the welfare support network across college, as well as providing people with information about wider University services.
Since we're such a small college, friendly support is never far away if or when you need it and we're known around Oxford for having a very high standard of structured welfare provision, with ten trained peer supporters, and dedicated Men’s (Tim Wickenden), Women’s (Andie Gbedemah) and LGBT (Sophie Clayton) Officers. We'll try our best to have at least one peer supporter at brew everyday (tea and biscuits in the JCR at 11am and 4pm) and you can always find us at our weekly Uber-Brew, including plenty of chocolate and cake, on Sundays at 4pm.
If you need a chat, have any questions, or need anything in the way of welfare supplies (condoms, pregnancy tests, attack alarms...) feel free to get in touch: kirsty.borthwick@regents.ox.ac.uk
